Frage zu Ersa 832AD

Hallo,

ich bin zufällig in den Besitz einer Ersa-Lötspitze 832AD gelangt. Laut Webseite ist soll das ein LCC-Messer sein:

Mir ist nur nicht ganz klar, wozu ich sowas überhaupt brauche :) und eine Anleitung scheint es bei Ersa auch nicht zu geben. Also, bei welchem Problem soll mir so eine Lötspitze helfen und wie benutze ich das Teil eigentlich?
