'Nimitz' size? You wish - they were originally supposed to be roughly half that size, then got cut down some more for budgetary reasons. That means the JSF is too big and heavy to be carried on them, so with the demise of the Harrier we finish up with a 'bomb magnet' that can't even deploy the aircraft it was designed for.
