Free parts - we have a winner :)

And the lucky winner is David Harmon.

So you know what you missed out on here is what I've tossed so far:

Piezos, grain of wheat bulbs, 22W amplifiers, bags of assorted semiconductors, etc :) There were a few ATmega16s and ATtiny15s and ATtiny26Ls, and I think I saw a tube with half a dozen smallish PICs in it go by.

I guess there is about as much again as you see here still to come, but my arms ache and I need coffee.

A) Are the Zip-locs antistatic? ;-)

B) Howcome your mousepad is so clean? ;-)

Thanks! Rich

No, but the tubes inside them are. As for the transistors, most of them came in poly bags when I originally ordered them...

I scrub it with mercury from the streetlight bulb you saw at the top of the picture.

Actually I don't use that as a mousepad - it's a staging area for parts that I'm stuffing onto a board.

Other then the TO -92's, which might be bipolar transistors which are not overly static sensitive, the zip locks don't contain anything that might be ESD sensitive. ;^)
