Bone dry here

It's just starting to get into the lower 30's. It'll be December before there's any snow worth skiing on.

Cheers

Terrible weather here, 74°F and a few clouds passing overhead to deliver blizzards to the East Coast ;-) ...Jim Thompson

The long-term predictions, for the last decade or so, is for hot and dry in mid-California. The reality has been, so far, the opposite. On the western slope of the Sierras the west winds get uplifted and dump their snow. The eastern slope, Nevada, rapidly turns to desert. Sugar Bowl got 800 inches of snow on Mt Disney (yes, that Disney: it's the Mickey Mouse ski resort) last winter. Good thing, that's where we get our water from.

Nice planet.
