Maybe doggy Jim Thumthum doesn't have a clue himself, as you can see he tried to predict his clone to a he or a she.... maybe both, or maybe that's Dumbass Jim trying to have two identities.

with teens or adults,TVs and PCs can be valuable training aids. With pre-K kids,TV is NOT good for their mental development.

D/BC and Tim make good points--you *can* learn from games. Pilots
*can* learn from flight simulators. It's no substitute for the real thing, but it's instructive.Playing against real adversaries adds. (Can also add to shocking incivility, inappropriate and anti-social conduct--another kind of "training." Anonymous, over the internet, kids lose all inhibition.)
I'm not arguing against fantasy or virtual reality, just those as replacements actual reality. Example: having a girlfriend vs. simulating one on your PC. The simulation lacks, eh?
Little kids immersed in these over-simplified, scripted worlds ain't as good as them running around, skinning their knees, and learning to share. And teens should (but don't reliably) spend at least some of their time learning to blow things up, melting metal, sculpting, playing instruments, sports, reading classics, etc.

The drummer's role in Rock Band (similar to Guitar Hero, but with more instruments) can be very demanding physically.

I suspect the gaming industry might be making adjustments to improve social conduct.. One surprising example: In Half Life 2, you mostly care about saving your own ass. However, at some point the single player AI gives you a squad. The freaky thing is the people in the squad have realistic human faces. If you abandon these guys to save your ass, they get shot up and these's nobody left to help you. Yup..I did that and felt guilty.. Heck..It's just a game. Must have been the human faces :P So I replayed the scene and protected the squad. It appears that the game kills you off faster for being a coward :P The lesson: Survival in numbers.
For the little kids, it's best to be exposed to a variety of activities both fun and practical. The video games are like greasy burgers and fries and doesn't make for a complete diet. At the moment, gaming is still evolving and it'll be some time for it to surpass the quality of reality.

Yep. Haven't seen you miss a trick yet. Only realised it didn't add up, after I'd posted
Don't quit now! You have the perfect skillset for writing IC data sheets.
Graphite poisoning? The warmingists do believe that there is nothing worse than carbon. Maybe...
Did you recently hire a new receptionist?
If they get 'jiggy', perhaps no contraception is needed.. IIRC lead causes reproductive problems. Perhaps the kids will end up with four arms.. (Very handy for soldering..(pun)) :P A new sitcom idea for tv?.. Call it The Lead Solder Family. :P The son can't learn a thing. The father rages over stupid stuff. The wife just looks sexy.
Season 1 Wife: "Maybe you should wash your hands more often." Father: "Damn it! I've been soldering with lead for years and it hasn't brained my damage." Son: "Duhhhhh..."

Hmm. I find that lead, administered in 158 grain doses, seems to solve most any crime problem.

Hey, lets light up the abuse address. Maybe they might think some about how their service is being used. (pun intended)

All that and more psychotropic chemicals.
Nobody here defrauded you. If any real harm has been done to you, back it up with facts. I am usually disgusted by alligator tears and histrionics.
I will bet that it was not controlled for confounding factors either.
You are willfully disunderstanding, correlation is _not_ causation.
