I have a 32 inch Panasonic 6 year old tube tv. About 2 two months ago I noticed thin white lines across the top inch of the screen. After the set was on for a while they went away. Now they are across the top 4 inches of screen and are there all the time. The set also does this if a VHS player is used. Is the any adjustment or is the set on the way out? Thanks

Minor problem with two or three leaky capacitors in the vertical circuit. the tv is well worth fixing and should be less than $100.00 to repair
It is the "situp" cap. It will have a diode to the supply connected to the + side
