Hi all
Having a problem with TV. It's a Magnavox 52" rear projection manufactured Oct '96.
Model: 6P5430-W102
Chassis: PTV735-AH01
When pressing power button, power LED lights for a second then goes off. Have tried unplugging overnight, no joy.
Have googled 'till I'm blind, but can't find any info. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

YUP your, As they call it " Hv Generator" has gone south. NOT usually available they want you to buy the whole Defelction board about 165 in price
Thanks for the reply. I kind of figured it would be something like that. :-) Labour will be around $100, too, don't ya think or is this something I can do?
