Watch Nova's. " Trillion dollar bet". They literally picked stocks like throwing darts at a dart board. Did well then , I think, the ruble tanked. Lots of risk formulas came out of it for options trading.

Most any stock worth while should have made a bunch .

I play with one or two stocks with about 5 % of the money I have . It has done well over all. It often varies from about $ 80 TO $ 90 and back down every few days. So I may trade it every few days or have to hold it for a few weeks. The main amount is in an IRA that is handled by Chase in several mutual funds that I pick and change from time to time. I do not have time to research all the stocks. They have done well over the last 15 or so years. Some years they have been way down but over all they are way up.
