OT: Funding for Ebola

Don't forget that at the top stratum of such organizations are selected by their nominal bosses. Those often have very different perceptions of merit that ordinary working folk.

Well, on a ski slope one sign is just as dangerous as another. It's good that they put the "caution" on it.

Do they label all the trees with "Caution: Tree" as well?

I have actually seen a plastic bottle with "open other end" stamped on the base for US consumer guidance (a genuine one for a soft drink!).

Every single one of those drugs/therapies failed to save one or more ebola victims. Even the ZMAPP miracle serum, now exhausted, failed to save a stri cken Liberian doctor or a Spanish priest. The Dallas hospital patient could not be saved by a candidate ebola anti-viral. And they are hardly private sector filling a need. ZMAPP was/is funded out of the counter bioterrorism budget of Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

They never suggested any such thing, and they're not oficials.

More of your dumb inaccurate misinformation...
