Bird Strike Detector for Jets??

WWII. I think the crew

windscreen, smacked the pilot

his left shoulder.

And you can't take it on the plane when you travel.

I'd like a full-featured cell phone that doesn't have a camera. I tire of having to leave my cell phone at secure-location guard shacks, losing my E-mail connection behind :-(

ok...A weaponized phone won't pass airline security...

How about cellphone + pen? Wouldn't it be nice that when you can't find a pen, you can write with your cellphone.

How about cellphone + wallet. Put your money and credit cards in the cellphone.. People can hear the loose change when you're walking :)

The worst would probably be cellphone + tire pressure gauge. :)

I think engine stopping is a good detector.

An A380 engine will gladly swallow a leftist weenie. Might not work too well afterwards, perhaps adopting the weenie's attitude.

It would certainly get my attention ;-)

How about a big red button that says "HALT ALL PROCESSES" !!

Joe Leikhim K4SAT "The RFI-EMI-GUY"© "Use only Genuine Interocitor Parts" Tom Servo ;-P

You can get styli for many of the popular phones that doubles as a pen. Granted, they're way too skinny and usually too short to be a particularly

*good* pen, but in a pinch...

So, you're both closet murderers?

Zeig Heil!

Feh. Rich

This has been explained at least several times - there is no need - something hit the engine - who cares what it was? The crew has more important things to occupy themselves during an engine failure than to worry about whether they hit a bird or a flying saucer. What else might be up air there anyway?

And it would be added expense even if it were possible to do, with no useful purpose.

I think I'll start referring to you as Skybuck Jr.

Cheers! Rich

Of course not; and I'm about to start skipping yours as well if you keep being such a blockhead.

Good Luck! Rich

What part of "NO" don't you understand?

Thanks, Rich

I'm in the right spot then! All the right stuff I know is pointless to post.

Surface-to-Air Missiles?

Cheers,

Michael

Jets? I know people with Cessnas who have had seagull pizza come through the windshield.

Jim

I am and I could care less why my kerosene-to-noise converter just stopped operating. We can figure all that stuff out once the airplane is safe on the ground.

Jim

Just put a high powered laser containment beam across the front of the cowl and you won't have a bird strike problem anymore.
