The recent strange bird deaths seem to have caused by climate change...

The birds thought that, due to Al Gore touting global warming, they didn't need to fly south for the winter ;-) ...Jim Thompson

| 1962 | I love to cook with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Jim Thompson:

It takes a bird brain to listen to Al Gore.

Isn't this one of the signs predicted in the Book of Revelations?

Thanks, Rich

I heard one report touting possible trauma to the birds from a tornado.

There are a few hundred billion birds on the planet. Roughly 100 billion die every year. The news outlets have just discovered that fact.

It's not their death, it's the way they died. FAIK birds did not "en masse" drop dead out of the blue sky since the days some Americans fired their canonsballs into the crowds of passenger pigneons.

Yes, but those birds were ostriches.

Head-in-sand.... Nevermind. :)

I also thought I read somewhere that thousands of pounds of hazelnuts once fell out of the sky. Makes a flock of birds hardly worth mentioning....

Is there anyone that you do not insult as a regular part of your day, you filthy fucktard?

Apparently hummingbirds can only survive overnight without sugar. I found a dead one on my doorstep when my neighbor forgot to refill the bird feeder. They just seem to crash and burn in a few hours when they run out of fuel.

It's the new "swamp gas"...

I second the "bird-brained Liberals" comment elsewhere.

Hm. Any more in other countries? Would China admit it if it happened there?

I'm (possibly mis-) remembering that the magnetic North pole is headed toward Sweden. Any connection?
