Philips tv dead

Model nr is unreadable but someone told me it's a D110 chassis. Old, must be about 12 years. Set was dead but after replacing a few caps and lopt the green light comes on but no picture, adjusting the lopt won't make a difference, haven't checked if there's sound. According to the owner who's my landlord the picture became gradually darker and one morning it didn't came on at all anymore. I'm sure i tested all caps, there is HV as when i turn the set off a blob can be seen on the screen. HOT is fine, startup circuit should be good as well as the green light is on. Further suggestions?

What voltage you get on the filament? And what is the b+ voltage?

Haven't checked but the neck is glowing, i remember we had this before and it was a chip failing. On the board is a TDA8390 and TDA2549 I have a scrap board and will swap both and see what happens.

Replaced TDA8390 and TDA 2549, now picture but no vertical output. I used second hand parts from old chassis, any chance one chip is faulty, hence no vert out? Bart Bervoets

No, theres no chance that used parts off a scrapped board could ever be faulty. Theyre actually guaranteed 100% by the Immunity From Reality Fairy.

It must be a nice tv to spend this long on it.
