Mitsubishi ws-65819. Worked on weds, moved on thurs, power won't come on. green 'timer' light is illuminated for about 2 seconds, and shuts down. The TV was moved with care. Tech Rep at Mitsubishi says it's in a 'power safe' mode, and the something may have been 'jarred'. initial cursory check reveals no evident problems. any suggestions????
You could possibly have disturbed a Bad solder connection some place. Best pull the guts and start looking,use a Magnifying Glass.
thanks kip.... i did start that inspection, but have not noticed any bad areas. I still have two more boards to go thru. Thanks for your advice..i do hope it is something as simple as that. Any more inputs from you or anyone else will still be greatly appreciated!! I'll be retiring from the USAF next year, and maybe taking up TV repair could be interesting. thanks again....
