A customer brought these two three way speakers in for repair. One has a bad 12 inch woofer. I never heard of the brand but they appear to be a quality set made in Japan around 1970 I'm guessing. The label on the back says "50W maximum power" and the woofer is marked "20W". The customer really likes these speakers and I know that he would want to keep them original if at all possible. I also know that I can probably find a suitable replacement for this woofer, but does anyone know of a speaker service that will actually rebuild this particular speaker if he wants to go that route? Also does anyone have any information as to what these speakers cost new and perhaps what they might be worth now? Thanks very much. Lenny Stein, Barlen Electronics.
