I'm part of group that is readying two Audio Precision System One DualDomain measurement systems for market.The units have exceptional provenance. They were owned by Stereo ReviewMagazine and were the personal tools of Julian Hirsch. They still haveHachette Publications property stickers on them.Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S magazine operations, like Ziff Davis, andindeed Stereo Review, are regrettably no more. We obtained these units fromHachette as surplus items right before they moved their offices inManhattan.According to ,Hachette's US magazine operations were sold off in May, 2010.The condition of the equipment is excellent. All of the tests I've runworked the first time. We have them fully operational and attached tocomputers running Windows XP. We believe that we have drivers and I/O cardsthat will work with even later versions of Windows. The units are a tiny bitout of calibration. We intend to run 100% of the diagnostics and have thementirely nominal before sale.While not SOTA in terms of distortion residuals, AP S1 systems are stillvaluable tools for many current applications due to their excellentinterfaces, good performance, and programmability. All FCC records are supposed to be there, somewhere. Someone dug out early records on WLW a while back. Has the station always had the same call letters?

I used to have no problem finding old records, but it looks like they have 'downsized' the database. I can't even find the TV station I built in Destin, Florida. That was around 1989m on Ch 58 with the call of WMRX.
