Using SRAM Memory CY7C1386C

Dec 01, 2007 2 Replies

Hello, I use SRAM Memory CY7C1386C. I downloaded datasheet and vhdl model from

formatting link

I read that " Available speed grades are 250, 225, 200 and 167 MHz"

Does it mean that ONLY these frequences are available?

I have problem with write and read and I use 50Mhz clock.. Especially BURST-MODE is wrong.

Is problem too litle clock or only too fast?

Thanks Create

Neither one. These are fully synchronous devices, meaning they can operate at any frequency below their rated max. Your problem is somewhere else.

No. I didn't check that particular chip, but many of those have options for linear and interleaved bursting. Are you selecting the one you want?
