Hi When you open your Base System Builder and use it to add a UART peripheral the GUI contains a button called "DATA SHEET" and it will do the trick. Regards, Moti.
When you want the code of uart, you mast go to your EDK installatio folder then hw\XilinxProcessorIPLib\pcores\opb_uart16550_v1_00_ and there you get the vhdl code and datasheets
