Does anyone know of a reliable UK company who can do small to mid- scale electronic equipment production, including metal/plastic bashing?
I am ideally looking for everything except circuit design and firmware design. A company located in London or southeast England would be ideal.

Whats small to mid scale? Are you looking for quality or down to a price work?
Both, of course! :)
Decent commercial quality at a decent commercial price. I regularly run into situations where a few tens or hundreds of units are required.
This rarely interests the large manufacturers (certainly not the Far East) but equally a product is required that does not look as though it has been made on someone's kitchen table.
I have been using the same company for many years, but the main man there is beginning to contemplate retirement, is losing focus, and has not really been up-to-date for some years.

I can't really discuss things to widely on usenet, partly because of confidentiality on specific projects, and partly because there is a long term and more general aspect to the posting, to which no specific project applies.
