Excuse me, but did you not realize that the studies that DID get published DID NOT prove AGW, they just allowed that as a conclusion. Most of those researchers who stayed just 'tweaked' their results to allow for AGW as a possible outcome, even when the actual data and methodologies made that a very poor probability. How many of these researchers did YOU know? I didn't know that many, but those that stayed on would tell you in private that the whole concept of AGW was horse manure, but they couldn't say that in public and still get funding.

Climategate was just the tip of the iceberg, where someone forgot to cover their tracks as throuroughly as they would have liked.

I've always liked things like roller coasters and steep, fast skiing has never bothered me. In fact, I ski higher and faster than ever. It's just the geometry of a steep edge, a big derivative of slope, where one could fall, like a cliff or a ladder, that scared me. But that started fading away and is now essentially gone.

Let me be clear. The climategate is because of some scientists did bad investigation, but I know several people who can prove that there is a climate change. In fact the climate is always changing, even if we (humans) aren't involved.

How can you possibly be capable of showing sense to anyone if you keep demonstrating time and again that you even fail at making basic claims which aren't either obviously false, absurd and perfectly groundless? Of course the climate is always changing. Not a question about it.

Now, is it being caused by terrible humans using fossil fuels too greatly? Not that likely. It is possibly a factor in existing global climate change, but with our present measurements, there is no way to tell. There are too many inaccuracies in our existing temperature databases for them to be of any value for low levels of change we might be seeing. Anyway, the massaging that has been performed on those databases in the name of AGW research has rendered them practically unusable for any scientific analysis.

Wouldn't be that hard. "3-inch dent in car bodywork" sounds like a lot, but isn't. A few millimetres of lexan would survive most cases, and protect the actual panel (at the expense of having to replace the lexan) from most of the remainder. Anything much worse than that and you're looking at replacing the roof, if not the house.

One hail storm, wow! Have you ever seen the results of a *large* hail storm? They don't just put divots in the shingles. Hail will *shatter* car safety glass and put 6" deep holes in the steel. I've seen roof completely stripped off and decking busted up.

Repairing broken mains when it's -35F is a lot of fun. Jackhammers just to get to the main.
