Except warriors. There are situations where everybody has to fight or die--the Warsaw Ghetto, for instance. Of course those aren't usually very _favourable_ situations, so everyone dying is far from uncommon.

There was an air crash fatality in Truckee just this week. They were flying a Cirrus which is a make of plane that deploys a whole airframe parachute. My guess is they were too low to give it a chance to fully open up and slow their descent to something survivable. One survived with injury, the other died.
