uld boost world’s supply

NOVAVAX again- shows 100% efficacy against moderate and severe disease. The idiot who wrote this article doesn't know what they're talking. It's at least as good as the mRNA vaccines, and the trial efficacy is slightly lower due to all the variants the participants were exposed to. There is no scientific reason whatsoever the protein subunit vaccine cannot outperform the mRNA vaccines, it's actually an upper limit for mRNA performance and not the other way around. Another very important point is the price comes in at 10% of the Pfizer vaccine, and NOVAVAX’s protein vaccine can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 6 months, and, once removed, remains viable for 24 hours. That is a HUGE advantage for "developing" countries ( euphemism for ungovernable backwards hellholes with rampant corruption and military dictatorships)..

Reality check: THEY CAN'T MANUFACTURE AT SCALE!

They're barely able to make enough for their trials.

Problem is that they (Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, AZ and NovaVax) are all fighting for resources and basic ingredients. Regardless of technologies, nobody can make enough for the world.

NOVAVAX protein subunit is grown in a moth cell line. I'm pretty sure they're the only one doing that.
