Most of them are for petty misdemeanor offenses like failure to appear or maybe some child support stuff. The people wanted for serious offenses are totally laying low and don't go near the polls.

00vote/hour advantage going to the republicans. At about 11am the democrat advantage of 115,000 votes has been erased and the republicans are ahead b y 55,000 votes. If these rates hold up over the rest of the day, the repub licans will have cast more than 300,000 more votes than the democrats.is assumes that those who declare as independent will split 50/50.

with a greater percentage than in 2016.
What's wrong, McFly? CHICKEN? Bok bawk, bok ba gawk!
2000s: climate denial-ism
2020: death denial-ism
Like what evidence is there that people actually die. Never been dead myself except for that time before I was born. Sounds like a lib conspiracy to me. Has anyone actually checked all the graves? Those could be fake graves.
President worked his ass off to scare a lot of the population and Larkin muses that they're scared.
Larkin's a bully, but unlike Trump he's not even a self-aware bully.

eho caught the virus at a Corona party. He is reported to have told a nurse he didn't believe the virus was real and he made a mistake. He died short ly after.
ome consider it a cautionary tale. Other laugh and think it won't happen t o them. They are probably right. The disease has not even killed 0.1% of the total US population. Those are good odds. Some of us like to improve the odds a bit more. I don't like playing Russian roulette no matter how m any chambers the gun has.
How do you know you were dead before you were born? Do you remember being dead? Do you even remember being born? Sounds like you are a life before birth denialist. Did you check your birth certificate? Does it say anythi ng about you having been dead BEFORE you were born?
Yup, sounds like a giant conspiracy to me. Fake birth certificate. I thin k you've always existed and have never been dead. If that's true, you migh t not notice when you die having no prior experience in the matter.
Lefties are scared of most everything. Well, the ones that I know are. There are a lot on NPR too, talking about how scary their lives are.
Poor baby! Did I frighten you again?
Actually, I'm excessively polite and considerate to real people. But I'm not neurotic, which some people confuse for being arrogant.
Lefties tend to be neurotic too. It's just the way they are wired.
That's called make an rational assessment of risk. Getting close to lots of people does increase your chance of getting infected with Covid-19.
93,555 Americans got infected yesterday, so the overall risk is only about 285 ppm, one 3508, but if you get into a crowd outside a polling station it's quite a lot higher.Or more rational.
Or rational people are more likely to be Democrats. John Larkin can't do rationality so he has failed to recognise the possibility.
Not really, I think some people tend to be frightened by Trump because he has power. You don't have any power.
Well...
Ok...
Frightened in the way I'm frightened of this guy:
Um, sir? Sir? You're gonna need to come with us now please. Well he didn't get himself shot at least. Must suck to find out the hard way the police don't actually work for you, though.

Yes, Trump wins Florida. Texas will be the decisive state.
muses that they're scared.
John Larkin does seem to confuse a rational appreciation of real dangers (w hich he doesn't know enough about to recognise) with being scared.
It's better for his self-image to think that, and he seems to get all the f lattery he can.
John Larkin isn't frightened of anything he doesn't know anything about, an d he's got broad-spectrum ignorance.
John Larkin does like flattery. Flattering yourself is pretty pathetic, but needs must.
What John Larkin probably means is that his ignorance makes him act in ways that would look arrogant in somebody who knew what they were doing. He con fuses being moderately well-informed with being neurotic. If you don't have clue about matters that worry other people, you can think that their worri es are neurotic.
The fundamental thing about left-wing thinking is that it is informed think ing - the left wing goes out and finds out how the world actually works, an d is prepared to change society to make it work better.
Right-wingers are perfectly happy with society just the way it is, and rega rd concerns about problems they are happy to ignore as neurotic.

Hardly. Pennsylvania is the deciding state. But even if Biden loses PA he can still win with a number of combinations of states he has polled well i n. For Trump to win, he first has to take each and every one of GA, NC, FL and AZ, then either PA or MI or some combos of NV, WI and MN. It's not a slam dunk, but it's mostly about PA more than any other state. Certainly T rump has to win TX, but he is favored there. Heck, he polled better in TX than FL for sure.

The electoral college is great isn't it?
Do you think it should be continued or amended to a popular vote?
