Maybe, maybe not, but it's less inclined to scorch while sauteeing. :-)

No, it just seems like it. ;-)

Because people want drugs, and damn the costs!

I hope not - I haven't had an aspirin, in any dose, in decades.

Yes - there have been several experiments - well, wait a minute: The conditions influence the genetic makeup of a species that's adapting to its environment, but it has nothing to do with the fundamental operation of genetics itself.

Well, yeah, with the help of genetic engineers.

You should have heard the uproar when, in 9th grade biology, when we learned that chimps have 98% of the genome of humans, I mused, "I wonder if humans and apes could cross-breed, and what would happen?"

I was very naive back in those days, but it didn't take everybody very long to read me the riot act on that one. Live and learn.

It gives it a broader range of subjects to study.

Not to me.

As a "science," not so much - in practice, yeah - I _do_ have to know how much I have on hand to spend when I go shopping.

History can teach us, but only if we're willing to learn.

About new stuff, isn't that why we evolved this magnificent brain, to figure that kind of stuff out?

Duh.

Thanks, Rich

I can piss off both sides in this debate: When you look at the laws of physics that came out of the Big Bang, evolution is really the only intelligent way to design a Universe.

But, what does "wrongology" mean? According to what etymology I can puzzle out, it's "the study of wrong."

This is a very broad field of study, especially when one considers that everything you know is wrong.

Thanks, Rich

No, its Designed Intelligence.

You picked a design you liked and called it intelligence.

If you look at the amount of work it took to create this design, then you would understand that it took just as much trail and error.

And trail and error is what Darwin was talking about.

If it were obvious, the ID people would have thought this up years ago.

Thank I will.

Of course you'd have to say that in order to impugn Jim, but you're a
fraud, so what you say doesn't matter.

No. Don't take them.

Because they can. Billions are made off effective drugs that kill people, too.

Is it harmful to the average person. (I'm on std. dose - 325mg/day)

Certainly. We wouldn't be here if it didn't.

Sometimes. It takes a "creation" though. ;-)

Nope. Did anyone say it was?

It certainly is harmful.

Predict weather for a month? Sure. Useful?

restoring John Larkin's unmarked snip

Since John has chosen to ignore my arguments, rather than attempt to refute them, he's the one who has buried his head in the sand. Considering some of the rubbish that ends up inside his head, one might suspect that he'd buried it something less salubrious.

I sure can't respond to your 100+ line run-on drones. Besides, it's all the same.

You often try. In this particular case, the seven lines - that you have again snipped, without marking the snip - didn't lend themselves to the sort of response that you can manage, so you've lied about the length in the fatuous hope of getting out from under without looking like vacuous blowhard.

If my responses were "all the same" you wouldn't need to go in for selective unmarked snipping and if you had any sense of honesty in debate , you wouldn't do it all.
