electric heating

Of course our GE appliances - dishwasher, oven - had defects!

The US seems to have quite a bit of car manufacturing still.

I found a web site that said that sodium filled valves were invented in 1919. They were probably used in most airplane engines during WWII. Dan

krw. Another TrumpTard who thinks he is better than everyone else.

There was a good Williams. he made nice pinballs and upright video arcade games. But that was definitely not you.

Many commode designs do not even have those any more.

I am a Chevy man. Dragster engine builders would ream out heads for the larger guides and put those valves in. I do not know where else they were used.

"30s vintage tractors"? You're an idiot. John Deer is a HUGE company. So is Case. Products all over the world... even in your pathetic lands. Good thing the folks there do not all possess your pathetic mindset.

Exactly.. But it was not their exhaust valves that caused it.

Some of the best piston engines ever made came out of the era. Some of them are still in service to this day.

Ever stop to wonder why a sodium filled EXHAUST valve operates better?

  • Resistive heating is, by definition, 100& efficient. HOW that heat is distributed for the needed purpose(s) is another matter.

Siphon-jet is critical for low flow operation, there's not enough water for a simple gravity bowl flush with refill through the rim. The water weight needs to be concentrated where it does the most good, pushing the waste directly into the trap.

Are you sure that it is not Sodium Carbonate, soda? Calcium Carbonate is limestone.

American cars are actually better than most European cars these days. VW has done a lot to adjust the perception of German cars.

With the right definition, anything can be made 100% efficient. But heat pumps can still provide more heat per KWH than resistors.

You might delve into the name: heat pump. Heat pumps ideally do not create heat, they move (pump) it from one location to another, the main thing is t he heat energy is already in the environment at point of use, Resistive hea ting must bring in electrical energy and convert it to heat at point of use . So unless you can figure a way to get more heat energy out of a resistor than the electrical energy required to make it, it doesn't compete with a h eat pump, not even close, it's a completely different process.
