kalirel electric heating

Has anybody ever heard of "Kalirel" electric heating before? It is mean't to be more efficient than Night Store Heating ( not difficult!) with a lot more versitility so you actually have heat when you need it and not whilst your out at work all day!! If anyone has this installed in their house I would be interested in how you are finding it.

Resistance heating with electricity is very efficient ... mostly brand independent. Letting your domicile cool down while you are not there is good as the thermal transfer (heat loss) to the outside is reduced. With a timer, one can bring up the temperature to an acceptable level before one arrives.

No magic. No recent breakthroughs. Never will be. Resistance heating is never going to change all that much.

Seems delusional. There are two main factors - the price of fuel and the efficiency of delivery, and a minor one - the time to get to working temperature. This system seems to add nothing.

Night Store Heating relied on off peak rates - this costs full rate.

How does electricity compare with other fuels there?
