Dr Spock was the paediatrition and he died last century.

Minor nit: Dr. (Benjamim) Spock was a pediatrician, who died in 1998. Nimoy played "Mister Spock" (he of the unpronouncable first name).

If it wasn't for Dr. SPock, a few generations of babies would have been brought up differently.

And there'd have been no big name when some were indicted for conspiracy to counsel, aid and abet resistance to the draft. The second most well known name of the five was William Sloane Coffin, chaplain at Yale. But everyone knew Doctor Spock.

Um Lenard Nimoy was 'Mr Spock' he was NEVER called Dr.

But but...Star Trek was like the most liberal TV series ever made! The United Federation of Planets is like a libertarian's big government nightmare!

And probably better...his writings were theoretical and not evidence based, he was wrong about many things and admitted as much near the end of his life.

An indictment is not a conviction, it is formal legal proceeding that determines 1) a crime has been committed and 2) the suspect "probably" committed the crime. It is not trial and people are not sentenced to prison on the basis of an indictment.

Right. He was the one responsible for the boomers being brought up as barbarians.

Leonard Nimoy's Spock was cool. The original Mr. Spock found inner peace an d fulfillment from reason and logic. And then after Gene Roddenberry died, Hollywood ruined Vulcans. 'Vulcans are emotionally repressed.' Starting wit h Tuvok, they walk around looking like they have a bad headache.
