Anyone know a good semi-custom transistor array vendor?

I'm looking for a product - similar to the semi-custom transistor arrays Cherry Semiconductor (now ON) or GEC/Plessey used to have back in the early 90's: an array with hundreds of transistors, with some larger devices around the periphery. They had some cross-unders and some resistors too. I'd prefer to customize only one metal layer. I have some past experience with the old Cherry product. I plan on providing the layout but will consider outsourcing layout to the vendor. Vendor must be capable of packaging and testing. My specs: Process: bipolar or CMOS

1 GHz ft if Bipolar
350 transistors process voltage >= 5 volts

Thanks, Frank

Have you looked into doing that with MOSIS?

My buddies at...

also claim to have an array.

Also Camenzind's company...

Or, if you have special needs (and money :-) contact me. I and a layout associate can create anything you want.

I don't think anybody would care to buy your tr-arrays or any thing of the nature. People are in hell right now due to high gas prices. If you really want to spend your money then go to Jim.

Remember, Jim and I are poor now. We used to work for our evil master, killing innocent people around the globe, and we say God bless America, unfortunately God isn't doing what we instructed Him to do....Oh well, we ought to make fake money to service, what do think?

Thanks, Jim. Yep, I've looked at the other two, but I need a place that's going to be around awhile, so I think it's time I learned more about MOSIS. Too Bad. Cherry Semi published a nice book on their bipolar array: I learned (copied) lots of transistor devices - regulated current sources, current output splitting amps, etc., and made a triple PLL and sync separator with it back in the 90's. Not sure about those special needs yet.

There's also Maxim Semiconductor. They offer an array, the QuickChip line.

But that might be overkill for your needs.

LOL

What is?

That Maxim doesn't offer such services?

Or I'm not Robert H., who ever that is.

Learn to read headers... anything with Message-ID or posting host with "aioe.org" is a forgery and should be filtered out.

I'm no forgery, for sure. But why is it that free resources always end up being abused? What a world we live in. Sheesh!

Part of the problem in this case is the anonymous posting capability. If they would include the originating IP address in the header - like, say, Google do - forgeries would be a lot easier to detect.

I was pretty sure that we had more than one decent regular here that used aioe.org. So JT it is just one creep there and very recent. Maybe it is one of dimbulb's sockpuppets.

If JosephKK and Joreon were paying attention they'd have noted I had already listed Jeroen as an exception.

Just previously in _this_ thread you said block the whole thing. Your notice of Jeroen and a7yv... must have been in a different thread.

That was before I noticed that Jeroen was posting from aioe.org

I have now retrained myself to observe raw headers before double-clicking ;-)
