I am trying to obtain some samples (quantity 12) for a design using part PMST5089 T/R NPN general purpose transistor by Philips Semiconductor

Unfortuantely I'm all out and need to get more. The two companies listed by Philips that sell these transistors (Arrow and Avnet) only sell them in 3000 part reels. It seems that a similar part is MMBT5089 available from digikey and mouser; however when comparing datasheets, I discovered fT (transistion frequencies) are different. E.g. PMST5089 lists 100MHz (IC =3D 10 mA; VCE =3D 5 V; f =3D 100 MHz) whereas MMBT5089 lists 50MHz (IC =3D 500 =B5A,VCE =3D 5.0 mA, f =3D 20 MHz). Thus the two questions I have for you are:
- Do you know of any vender that will sell this part in quantity 12?
- Not being able to get less than a reel, does MMBT5089 look like a viable alternative?
