Your help would be appreciated in deciphering the the following date code from a Nippon Chemi-Con Electrolytic, KMH series.

My guess is sometime in 2001.

It could just as easily be:
5: 2005 8: 8th week (February) or 8th Month (August) and the rest would be a lot code.Each manufacturer is different. Have you contact Nippon for help?
Capacitor date codes are sometimes intentionally proprietary. You have to contact the mfr if it's not a conventional 4-number wwyy format.
