RCA 52" projection TV.

Model # D52W26YX51, chassis # ITC 222. Trying to locate the right blue CRT, can't locate the Delta #. This unit is a TV, with built in DVD. It's not even listed on the RCA B2B site, or Global, in Mississauga. It's not even on the ESI CD's. Anyone have updated info on this unit? Thanks, Dani.

To Meatplow! Are you a Technician? Seems like you always provide me with no help! I'm an RCA Service Rep, & the unit isn't even on RCA's own ESI CD, or on their B2B site! The parts supplier doesn't even know which CRT is in this unit! Their are two types used, & the Delta # isn't on the CRT assy! One part shows as NLA...that means no longer available!!! Maybe you should slow down, & read before you "slam" me next time! I won't call RCA! I'm soon giving up their warranty! Thanks for nothing! Dani.

Sometimes, Dani, many here probably wonder if you are really a tech. The Delta # ?. Are you talking about the number on the lens? Those are USPL model numbers and tell you nothing about the CRTs. Typically, all three, or at least two of them use the same lens with the same number. If you can't get the right part numbers from your vendors, get the EIA type number off of the CRT and search on that. If you want some help, post the numbers that you are looking for here. If you can't get the info you need from the vendor, for whom you claim to be a "rep." "I won't call RCA" seems pretty silly if you have an affiliation with them.

According to a quick search on the TriTronics site, there are different lenses used on the same P16LXL00BMB CRT in some similar models. Is it the lens or the CRT that you need? You can generally get rebulit CRTs from VDC if they are NLA from the set manufacturer and the lens is largely irrelevant, as it can be fitted to the replacement CRT which would come without a lens in many cases anyway.

Some of us might have a scrapper with a tube if you post the type number that you need. When I pull tubes I do not usually note what set that they came from since the type number is all that usually matters if you need to replace it.

I googled the chassis number you posted saw some links returned pertaining to that chassis and suggested you have a look. Sorry that wasn't the help you wanted.

Here was my response, let's see where the slamming occured: "

Dani, I think it's you who should slow down. Look at all the exclamation points you've used, no less than 12 of them. I feel bad that you're having so much trouble locating what you need but it's not the end of the world. Take the set back to the customer and move on.
