OKI Semiconductor Inc, looking for MSM6203RS data sheet

Hi

I have scads of a part made by OKI Semiconductor around the 1984 - 1989 era.

What I need is a full data sheet/s for this part. An 18Pin 0.3 inch DIP pkg. I would give the finder a 100 lot of this part (FREE incl Shipping), a CMOS 8/8 Mult 16/8 divider.

It appears in a Master Selection Guide of 1990 issue. Called a peripheral chip.

The part would make a wonderful reciprocal converter for frequency/period measurement etc.

Any help is welcomed.

IC addict :-) KW

I'll check. Just a few days ago I came across one of my "Captain Codec" OKI shirts, and I have some of their books laying around.

Hi

Thanks for pending look for data...

I did find a person in Japan that had a databook that shows the MSM6203 part. He .pdf'd it to me. Probably enough info to work with the chip, but everything is in Japanese. If your databook is around 1985 it should have the part listed.

Hope your issue has it in English Language.

The control register function wording is in Japanese too. yukk...:-)

Let me know if you have good readable sheets.

thx KW

I'm going to check a pile of books not at home.

Aside from people who never throw books out, are there any libraries of technical documentation like this anywhere?

Even universities just throw everything away once it's "old".

Sort of a shame, and there has to be lots of lost knowledge in these things.

Sorry, no dice so far on those databooks.
