HP DeskJet 900 series repair ....Help

My HP deskjet 932c just bit the dust. No lights or any indication that it is receiving power.

Prior to this the color photos that I would print were darker than normal. During this time period the printers power cord was unplugged and plugged back in while the printer was off. The next time I started the printer it would not come on. I suspect that a MOV or something similar went out when the printer was unplugged.

I have dis-assembled the printer to a point were the next step is to remove the power supply circuit board. The circuit board is contained within a black plastic enclosure that I can't figure out how to remove. It must be removed before the circuit board. There are tabs on the black plastic that hook around the metal framework, but the tab hooks are 1/4 inch long and I see no way of flexing this plastic without breaking it. I must be missing the secret to removing this enclosure. I am hoping someone has gone through this before and can give me the hint that I am looking for.
