Equivalent for SL8018

Jul 20, 2007 5 Replies

Hi!

I'm working on a old board where there is a opamp named SL8018. I've tried looking online for a datasheet or information in general.

I want to replace this opamp with a equivalent circuit but since i dont have any info this is almost impossible.

Is there anyone who have information for me on the SL8018?

Thanks! Rikard H

could it be Plessey, UK, they used SL.... sure 80 of 8018 is not year 1980 ?

I think youre right about Plessey, thanks!

im sure that it is SL8018..

and the search goes on .... :-)

I think you're out of luck there.

By examining the circuitry you should be able to substitute something else though.

Usbid.com lists the manufacturer for the SL8018 as NS, but the date code is 00+, which doesn't give me any confidence.

FWIW, NTE shows the NTE703A as a cross for the SL8020:

The NTE703A is an RF-IF Amplifier in an 8-pin metal can package.
