Some can. Some can't. Check at canon.com
Also useful for Canon cameras

Canon will refuse to support this.
If your camera has a video output, install a video capture card in to your computer and its capture software and drivers. The conferencing software should be able to be configured to see the video capture card.
If you are going to use your photo camera as a Webcam, I suggest you put it in to the lowest possible resolution. If you leave the resolution up to the normal amount for taking photos, this may be trying to put out huge file size frames every second. This will cause a lot of network speed problems for live video when you are trying to go through systems that were designed for webcam type pictures.
You will also need the AC adabtor for the camera, because its batteries will not last very long when it is output continous video.
My opinion is to spend a few dollars on a USB Webcam that will do the job. You will find it a lot cheaper and easier to use. The Webcam was designed for the job, and you won't have the hassle of figuring out drivers, and configurations to make a photo work as a Webcam.

Will overheat and die apparently...
