Not able to bring up ixp2800 using SNAPGEAR(3.2.0)

Hi ,

I am working on ixp2800 and trying to bring it up using SNAPGEAR.

I have SNAPGEAR 3.2.0 and arm-linux-tools-20031127.tar.gz as my tool chain.

I got a zImage using default setting for ixp2800, and linux 2.4.x kernel.

I am able to launch it and insert modules using insmod. But when I try executing it using the ./sa executable it reports the following errors.

================================================================= root@ingress:/mnt/freakyFriday# ./sa start 2 10gb_ethernet_ixp2800.uof

Overwriting bladeId to 2 Taking microcodeix_sa_open called. from 10gb_ethernet_ixp2800.uof ix_sa_ioctl called. Taking/read MSF out of reset... Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address

Also the following errors are reported at the end. ================================================================= Backtrace: frame pointer underflow Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffffffff =================================================================

I desperately need guidance to continue.

Thanks in advance, Aheesh
