gdb-stib and microblaze

Hi,

Question: Is there a way I can connect gdb to a remote microblaze target without the use of XDM? The kernel is the xilkernel and the development board is the Memec Insight Virtex2.

Do I need to compile in some gdb-stub files, if so, where could they exist?
