Rikta om lpt till lpr

Hej! Har ett gammalt DOS-program som jag gärna vill använda och problemet är att man bara kan ställa in lpt1 till lpt3 i utskriftsinställningarna, kör Windows 2000. Har för mig att det gick att styra om i NT4 men det ser inte likadant ut i 2000. Det finns ett alternativ till, att skriva till en fil och gå via GSView. Detta är ju bara merarbete så om någon vet hur man gör så skulle jag uppskatta lite ledtrådar. Postscriptskrivaren sitter på en Freescoburk och funkar fint till andra program.

If there is a special circumstance where the user needs to redirect a network printer, you can map the network printer to a local port.

For Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows NT, you can use the following command:

net use lpt3 \\servername\printer /persistent:yes

This command maps the network printer to the local port LPT3. The user can then install the correct drivers for that printer as though the printer was installed on LPT3. If this is done, the printer on LPT3 is redirected when the user connects to the Terminal Services session. This also works with LPT1 and LPT2, as long as there is not a local device on either of these ports.

Det borde väl annars gå att skapa en batchfil som först skriver ut till fil med DOS programet och sedan skickar den till Ghostscript.

"assign" kanske bara är för skivenheter? annars assign lpt3=lpt1 Eller "mode". Typ mode lpt3=lpt1...
