APC is nou ook niet echt top of the bill, maar el cheapo consumentenrommel en dat is precies waar ik het over had.

Ook bij de betere UPS'en gaat de accu binnen een paar jaar kapot. Om over andere problemen, zoals spontaan in de fik vliegen, nog maar niet te spreken. Als de netvoorziening niet al te belabberd is, veroorzaakt een UPS niet zelden meer problemen dan dat ie oplost.
