OT: Photoeye

Where can I find a simple "photoeye" device that works by shining on a reflector and simply operates a relay when the beam is interrupted?



All I can find is expensive stuff that runs a ding-dong "annunciator".



I could cut that up, but would just as soon not.

Look for industrical photoelectric sensors. They're commonly used on production line to count boxes on a conveyor belt, safety shutdown, etc.

Search for whatever you want using Google Images like this:
