In my first post I have said that I have not done analog electronics since a long time ... which is true !
;-) Anyway, no problem, we can continue ...

But your attitudes are incorrect. Do you really expect an experimenter having fun to become a pro designer because you demand it?

Should work fine.
Utter hog-wash. Any old cap within the ratings is good enough. Your circuit is nice enough for playing around with but doesn't merit any gold-plated components.
Waste of money, see above.

Since Olivier stated early on that he's a beginner you could have said the above earlier and far more politely.

His
magic
The point is that it's HIS circuit. And it has some potentially interesting variations. IF you allow yourself to think.
John
He wants to play with discrete components, not just clone a reference circuit for an IC.
Far too few people even know how to design with transistors and resistors and capacitors any more. They just connect boxes, or tweak eval board circuits.
John
These look interesting too.
The H. C. Lin amplifier from 1956 started the whole Class AB (B?) thing, eh?

I guess that rules out aforementioned Bush and co.

Yes, its a small garden, with horse radish and parsnips, about 1.2m X 1.3M, that Bode cultivated when he became a vegan.
Kevin Aylward
Indeed, its quite stable though...no need to plant any vegetables.

Bush, an EE?
M
Don't be silly. It's where Bode is buried.
John
Good grief, people keep building minor variations on the same circuit for, what, 45 years now?
John
More like 52 going on 53, looks like...
Oh well, it's either that or Class A...
Any progress on reducing the distortion in high-power Class D amps yet?
Michael
Or, Heaven forbid, a few new ideas?
John
Class D? Class G?
Michael

Oh, I doubt John Fields will allow that. He's a sad old git who will just shout me down now. Shame since I could have taught you the whole gamut of output stage operational ranges.

Awww...
And now you won't because I made you cry, poor baby, and it's my fault that you won't help Olivier?
Grow up.
