questo no ho provato, pero se la periferica Usb ha ul suo alimentatore (come Usb printer per esempio) dovrebbe funzionare fin a 21m almeno su Usb1.1) usando la prolunga coax (solo) di misure 5,25m, 10,5m,

15,75m ed 21m. perche eletricamente il schema e praticamente identico come il primo con alimentazione via schermatura del cavo coax, che mi funzionava piu di 21m su Usb1.1 (la mia scheda madre non ha di piu) col una chiavetta usb wifi usando semplice cavo TV comune invece di H123 di Belden ... ecco quella mia prolunga alimentata provisoria col 15,75m di TV coax:

Dipende che periferica vuoi mettere alla fine della prolunga. Potresti provare anche farti la prolunga semplice col cavo FTP (Cat5e); tante volte funziona; un mio amico ha provato con mini camera web su Usb e gli funzionava fin a 20m (pero quella roba non consuma tanta corrente e non ha misurato la velocita trasferimento dati).

Ma per qual cosa vuoi usare la prolunga?

IMHO sta roba non consuma cosi poco; circa come una chiavetta Wifi Usb (e cosi... vedi sotto sotto!)

... o invece ti procuri 2x 5m di cavo usb gia pronto ed un HUB Usb (seconda mano) alimentato!, che lo metti a meta tra quelle due prolunge ...
