-- A remarkable grasp of the obvious, and somewhat telling in that you don't think Larkin shares that talent with you.
It's interesting, to see stuff others have done.

I haven't donated now for years, but even then they kinda' used the pint and unit terms interchangably. I think "unit" just sounds a bit more clinical, than the pedestrian pint.

Agreed. I wish more people would show stuff they have actually done, schematics and boards and products.

Yeah, sorry, I meant pascals. Why on earth did they pick 1e5? And any hints yet when they'll change the unit for pressure again or are they done changing now?

II said "endless", not "infinite."
If you make a list of all the lead pitches that you can think of, I guarantee that I can add one more. Go for it... prove me wrong.

That would all be within the usual +/-3dB :-)

All of our dimensions are metric. We often talk in Imperial terms ("062" boards, etc.) but the actual dimensions are metric. If it can be done in the South, certainly you lefties on the left coast can do it.
Boo hoo. Buy a calculator.
Wrong.
Bullshit. The computer has no problems dividing rather than multiplying.
It's probably best to do it in the units your customer uses.
*WOW*. Heck of a navigation feat, measuring progress of 300 nanometers in a day. It can't be GPS, are you doing optical interferometry?
Not at all true. There is a big difference between "not too far left" or "not too far right" and "off the edge socialist". Obama is *OFF* the edge.
Even Karl Marx wouldn't call Obama "far right" or "virtually indispensable from a Republican". That takes inconceivable ignorance.
You're wrong. The only difference between Obama and Chavez is the Constitution and he's doing everything he can to nullify that.
When you do away with the right, there is nothing left.

I-- Ah, so he was right in his assessment! I apologize for giving you more credit than you were due.
-- I heard something beautiful the other day: "An eagle can only fly if it has both a left wing and a right wing."
Nice. I kind of like "It's hard to soar with the eagles when you're surrounded by turkeys" as well. :)
You mean 2.54 mm connectors? That is what the Europeans call them. I see true metric a lot more often at 2mm, 1mm and even 0.5mm pitch.

Hmmm... I seem to recall it was 20 drops to the ml. In chemistry measurements could be *very* important!

I looked up "endless" in wikipedia and it has a link to this discussion...

There are no such thing as european numerals, the ones we use are of arabic origin. So, in the plate you're referring to, there are arabic numerals on the left and someting else in arabic on the right. If the arabaic stuff on the right were numerals, you'd have recocgized them.
Regards, Mikko
the wiki shows two different numerals, european/western arabic and eastern arabic
compare that to the license plate

One foot per nanosecond is a useful, easy to remember approximation.
