Synchronous Switchers

I've posted trivial solutions to your "DIfferential high-side (current) sensing" here in the past. You don't need 0.1% resistors (at least to avoid CMRR issues... CMRR issues you avoid by proper design... which you clearly don't know how to do).

applications. I've certainly found them handy from time to time, and my low distortion sine wave oscillator is going to include a few when I finally get it soldered together.

It's gotten far worse.

That was when I knew he'd lost his mind. I was surprised to see him claiming that you were all pals now, too.

Bill, you can stick it down that infected piehole that you regurgitate all that garbage from. You still haven't finished that brain dead oscillator you've been screwing for over a year.

In test equipment. Fluke used some .01% in their calibrators. We used them in some space certified RF systems in the AGC systems to improve the tracking between multiple receivers for Diversity applications.

Classy.

You know what they say--resistance is futile. (You WILL be assimilated.)

Nice. I have a flea-market collection of old L&N oil-filled standard resistors, which I could in theory send out to cal labs. But DVMs are so good these days, that's all you really need. Just send your Fluke out for cal once a year.

It's true that I haven't put my low distortion oscillator together yet.

I did move from Europe to Australia in mid-project, but since Mike Terrell probably doesn't know where either of these places are - it's all ROW to hi m - he probably doesn't recognise this as a valid excuse.

I know why he claims that the oscillator is "brain-dead" - it's one of his favourite adjectives. The fact that he hasn't got a clue how it works or wh y it might produce a sine wave with a low harmonic content doesn't stop him from applying it to a project that he knows absolutely nothing about.

I can't accuse Mike Terrell of being brain-dead. There's no evidence of int ellectual effort in anything he posts, but his brain might be sleeping, or off on holiday in Tampa.

Tampa? I haven't been there since a one day visit in the '60s.

I doubt that he knows where 'anything' useful is.

Hey, an integrated fast-pulse generator. That's a feature. All it needs is a current-steering network to square it up.

I hope to publish it eventually - in a peer-reviewed journal, which preclud es publication here. You may eventually get some work from somebody who wan ts an integrated circuit version.
