The Obama administration didn't fabricate anything. The evidence about Russ ian intelligence contact with Trump's election team in 2016 came from routi ne intelligence monitoring of Russian intelligence activity in the US. The y just happened to be contacting the Trump election team.

Nobody asserted that Trump was colluding with anybody. It was a theoretical possibility, given the existence of the contacts, and the Mueller investig ation - which started in May 2017, after Trump was in power - didn't find a ny evidence of it. They did find a lot of evidence of Russian intervention.

Trump does seem enthusiastic about misusing his power as president in ways that might help him get re-elected. When he tried it on the Ukraine, the De mocrats tried to impeach him for it, but the Republicans wouldn't take it s eriously - they expect their politicians to be corrupt.

Trump does seem to think the voting public is remarkably gullible, and you do seem to be an prime example of his target audience. The polls do seem to be suggesting that he can't fool quite enough of the people quite enough o f time, but we'll have to wait a week or so to find out.

You misunderstand my point. Just like with Obama, he inherited a big probl em that Bush did little about before leaving office. Then Obama make major strides in resolving the economic issues. They can claim the recovery had nothing to do with Obama, but at least he didn't crap on it (even though a few here will dispute even that).

Biden will be inheriting a similar mess. By the time he takes office in Ja nuary he will have a major economic issue on his plate in addition to the p andemic. Even if he manages to undo all the damage the republican governor s have done, the economy is headed in the wrong direction and the rest of t he world is not subject to US control. We are in a global economy and we c an't stand alone.

So even if he does manage to deal with the pandemic and he does manage to s alvage the economy, just like with Obama, the die hard righties here will s imply claim it was all because of the great efforts of Trump in his final d ays.
