Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad

This is pretty damning, and with plenty of additional corroboration from key players like the Ukraine prosecutor and Joe Biden himself, establishing authenticity.

Pretty lame...

The fact that one of Hunter's business contacts was introduced to the VP is a long way from refuting Joe's claim that he had, ?never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings?.

There is nothing in this that connects Joe Biden.

Why do you post such garbage?

What's "damning" about it? A father meets with his son, and is introduced to one of his son's colleagues? Why would anyone care about that? It's just normal politeness, not a business or foreign relations encounter.

Unlike someone who brings his family in to the White House to run things (foreign affairs for his son-in-law!)...and has not disconnected himself from his business as someone with a shred of ethics would have done. Instead he uses his businesses for government work! Amazing!

You want to talk about nepotism? And don't try to deflect this by making up something about anyone else, this is actual, factual, bragged about behaviour.

Why the orange con artist isn't in jail is a mystery to the rest of the world.

Man are you guys being scammed!

Makes no difference anyway. About 50% of votes have already been cast in a bunch of states. And most of them have been for Biden. This probably expla ins the fake USPS scandal to suppress the vote manufactured by the Democrat s, to get people to vote early. They saw this coming. Then Biden will drop dead sometime in 2021 and Harris will become president which is what they w anted all along.

People who are afraid to vote in person are mostly Democrats, namely Biden voters. So mail-ins will lean left.

The polls are wrong because lefties are people-people who like to talk about themselves. They answer pollsters. Conservative-libertarians want to be left alone so they hang up.

A vote having been cast is not the same as having been counted.

There's many a slip 'twixt cup and lip.

People who vote are mostly Democrats (according to the election that got Trump into office). The 'afraid to vote' distinction is just a smokescreen.

Wishful thinking is the only causation I'm seeing.

Ask President Hillary Clinton about poll accuracy.

Fred Bloggs does seem to need a better crystal ball. Biden is unlikely to d rop dead in 2021 - it could happen, but healthy 78-year-olds don't drop dea d all that frequently.

says that his probability of death - as a US male of that age - in that yea r would be 0.047826. He's college-educated, and well off so the real number is going to be lower.

John Larkin sees taking sensible precautions as "being afraid". My take on the situation is that people with enough sense to realise that Trump is a l ying crook also have enough sense to minimise their chances of catching Cov id-19 by voting by mail

Except that polls aren't all that wrong. They do have known margins of erro r, and - at the moment - this isn't big enough to give Trump much chance o f winning.

now gives trump a 13% chance of winning, and Biden an 87% chance. That says that if there were eight elections run in parallel (in parallel universes) Trump would only win one of them. We might live in the one in which he win s, but ti's not all that likely.

Not the right way of looking at the situation. At the time Nate Silver figured the odds as one chance in three of Trump winning and two chances of in three of Hillary winning, and did point out that people did win against those odds some 33% of the time.

He's figuring 87% Biden versus 13% Trump at the moment - Trump could win but it's appreciably less likely than it was in 21016

In 2016, Trumps victory depended him getting on some 77,000 more votes than Hillary in three crucial states, where he won with very narrow margins (clearly helped by Russian spending on fake posts on Facebook).

Certainly not! I've got a math degree, neither Clinton nor Larkin can describe 'accuracy' in a meaningful sense. I'll stick to my own counsel if you can't think of a more authoritative adviser.

There are more reports all over the place and this isn't necessarily the best example, but yes, the nut is that Biden's family has been in the business of selling access to his office, for their personal gain.

Here's Hunter, selling 'introductions' for millions--

And of course Hunter got $85k/month from Burisma for three (?) years, just for being fabulous.

The UK Daily Mail is just as right-wing as the Mordoch-owned New York Post, and just as happy to take fake e-mails from Rudy Giuliani.

""US intelligence agencies have concluded that the Kremlin is trying to den igrate the candidate Biden in the lead-up to the November 3 presidential el ection. The New York Post reported that the emails were obtained by long-ti me Trump lawyer and associate, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani."

Less pathologically pro-Trump organisations do seem to be more sceptical ab out the e-mails.

st for being fabulous.

Burisma might have though that they were buying useful access to people who could be bribed. They don't seem to have got anything out of it.

Well, yeah, that's possible. If there's a possibility of suspicion, it might help attract investors to have someone on the board of directors who is well-known. The knowledge that a well-connected American has access to the company books might open some US investors' checkbooks.

Nelson Mandela held a few board positions.

Biden is what America deserves, so I don't have a problem with it. Steve B annon has revealed that Biden has a lengthy career history of influence ped dling to big business, many of them owned by foreign governments, totalitar ian governments. The Burisma scandal is quite tame by comparison. The latest revelation will have no effect on the outcome of the election. Poll numbers right now are staggering, with Trump down by nearly 30 pts amo ng people over 65, and similar numbers for suburban women. Nationwide avera ge comes in at 10 pts down. Major swing states are out of reach, and former strongholds are really weak. Gun sales have jumped 150% in anticipation of the Biden push for elimination of ownership of anything more than a shot g un. Although a Mossberg 500 can be quite a nice self-defense weapon. His sy cophant political advisors are upbeat, to be expected since they still have 1/3 billion $ to spend, but Trump is now publicly acknowledging the impend ing loss.
