Thank you for confirming my suspicion that you have no real friends
And some people call names when they run out of ideas.
I'm autistic and not a people person. But I really like girls. Guys are only good for skiing with or desiging electronics with.
My wife and I are not hyper social like a lot of people are. We read, work, cook, hug. We have a few good friends, just a few. We don't feel deprived because we can't crush into huge noisy crowds or Facebook with two hundred people or text-blather all day. Some people seem to get a rush from all that.
Who woulda thunk that the primary application of electronics and compute cycles would be Facebook and Twitter and nonstop violence in superhero movies and video games?
Thank you for confirming my suspicion that you are fundamentally intolerant.

Hey SL0WMAN, I didn't know that Naomi Klein is a Nobel Prize winner. That's because she ISN'T! She just another empty headed lefty whose economic prin cipals make Russian Roulette seem like a good idea.
And don't come back or we'll arrest you at the airport.
California depends heavily on taxes on stock gains, which periodically whipsaws the budget. Their attempts at retroactive wealth taxes will only make things worse.

What's that got to do with anything? You haven't got a Nobel Prize either, and Al Gore had a share in one.
n Roulette seem like a good idea.
She's certainly left of centre, but she's not so empty-headed that she coul dn't spell "principles". Milton Friedman's economic principles are good dea l more empty-headed - like I said, sticking to an economic model that is ma thematically tractable when it doesn't predict anything useful is about as empty-headed as you can get.
Your head is empty of the kind of comprehension that could process that kin d of information. I'm not altogether clear what Naomi Klein's economics pri nciples are - she seems to be out there with Noam Chomsky in liking
Right-wing commentators label him as an anarcho-syndicalist, but neglect to mention that he's the intellectual father of the cooperative movement. The idea that the people working in a factory should have some influence on th e way the factory is run may strike you as strange. but it is embedded in t he 1948 German constitution and may be part of the explanation of the fact that Germany exports almost as much as the US while only having a quarter of the population.
So they f*ck with CEOs who may have risked it all to get or keep the business going and now think for some reason they deserve profits yet the one who can play with a ball are just fine getting paid even more.
Their mentality, not mine.
Why is there so much resentment of highly-paid execs and so much adoration of highly paid atheletes?
I bet a lot of baseball players make more than 100x what the team janitor makes.
Probably because highly paid athletes have a enough sense to realise that having a remarkable expertise in a rather restricted area doesn't generalise into other areas.
Highly paid executives have a primary expertise in getting highly paid, which tends to require a sincere - if frequently ill-founded - belief that they are equally expert in any area that they might turn their hands to.
Donald Trump is a particularly egregious example. John Larkin shows a similar tendency - his opinions on climate change are a little less sound than he likes to imagine.
But the team janitor can keep on earning his salary until he is eligible for the pension.
And nothing about sports "stars".
They bitched about the CEO of GM making too much. The Woman makes decisions that will affect the lives of millions. She is probably well educated and not just in school, and she had enough money to get there. I mean they don' t just give those CEO jobs to anyone, that have a vested interest in the co mpany.
They don't say a thing about LeBron who collects several times as much for playing ball.
ns that will affect the lives of millions. She is probably well educated an d not just in school, and she had enough money to get there. I mean they do n't just give those CEO jobs to anyone, that have a vested interest in the company.
r playing ball.
While he still can. And he gets it because he does it very well, and can be seen to be doing it very well.
American executives are paid much more than similar executives in other cou ntries, and the salaries aren't strongly correlated with competence. Most o f off-shore observers see it as a nice little racket set up by senior execu tives who vote one another ridiculously high rates of pay without any serio us effort to work out how little they could get away with paying and still get competent administrators (and the occasional inspiring leader). . Picketty and others having been making this point for some years now
