The SUN Identity Management Developer
will be challenged to assist in the creation and maintenance highly scalable, available, reliable, and secure security solutions with direction from the Technical Lead. Role and responsibilities of the SUN Identity Management Developer include:
Duties Understand Genentech''''s business needs and enable solutions using SUN Identity Manager (Waveset 7.X) product. Develop consistent provisioning and de-provisioning of internal / external user account across various internal and external systems by programming components or modules as directed by the Technical Lead Develop processes and solutions to simplify password management for internal / external users by programming components or modules as directed by the Technical Lead Develop processes and technology for user self service and delegated group management by programming components or modules as directed by the Technical Lead Develop adapters and connectors with various systems and databases for the purpose of creating, reading, updating, and deleting user attributes and accounts from the incorporated systems and databases by programming components or modules as directed by the Technical Lead Understand Identity Management Architecture to develop or program solutions solutions based on the high level design provided by the Technical Lead Document and execute unit testing Monitor trends and use the information to suggest and develop continuous improvements to the application environments as it relates to the component or modules assigned to program by the Technical Lead Support SQA testing for above functions Adhere to Standard and Guidelines and SimS Processes (Code review, Code walkthrough, Source code control, Change management)
Skills Required
5+ years experience with SUN Identiity Manager and knowledge of Sun Identity Manager (Waveset 7.X) Has delivered and deployed a number of IDM solutions/components using SUN Identity Manager (Waveset.) In depth knowledge and hands on experience in:LDAP (openLDAP and Sun Directory Server), SAML, Active Directory, J2EE, JAVA, EJB, JMS, JCA, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Oracle DB, Solaris, and WebLogic technology Stack. Experienced in Information Security Technologies and Industry best practices. Experience in automating user account and group membership creation, excellent organization, communication, and analytic skills.
Education: BA degree in Computer Science or related field
