As a statistical statement, respecting airplane bombing, that's true.

If profiling were allowed, everybody, muslims included, would get on planes faster, the cost of security would be less for everyone, and all of us, muslims included, would be safer.

Not exactly. If the left is politically correct, the right is politically incorrect, with the implication that the right-wingers will most likely do something totally stupid and irrelevant, like invading Irak.

PC should probably be read as Political Caution, and the its right- wing antithesis isn't Political Courage, but Political Crack-potted- ness - fools rashing in where angels would fear to tread, if they were dim enough to go that way in the first place.
