Sorry for the problems. My guess is that the survey tool that we are using (Zoomerang) doesn't work perfectly with Firefox. I don't have Firefox so I can't test it. I've only been able to use it with Internet Explorer. If you have IE and can use it, that's probably the safest route.

No, the "safest" route is to ignore you until you write a web page that conforms to the standards.

Telling prospective customers, "Sorry, your computer can't read my crap excuse for a web page, so you have to download the worst virus hole in the world, reboot, and reconfigure your system, just to look at what's so damned important to me that it makes me special!!"

Could be Word-HTML. I had similar errors on the ISCE web site. Now I use Dreamweaver. There are still a few problems that Dreamweaver does flag but the Validator does. I'll fix them when my round tuit arrives.

The html spec is also not real html, but something cooked up by people who should get out in the real world more often... The output of the validator should be interpreted with great care. A lot of stuff the w3c validator trips on, is never going to be a problem with real world (backwards compatible) browsers. Except for genuine errors ofcourse.

Yes, market research was done before and through-out the development cycle. However, we are still looking for input on several parameters. As long as the design is not finished and some things can still be influenced, any legit input that we get will be helpful.

They do say that; browsers do tolerate errors. But they are trying to stop people making speling mystaiks in HTML, just as some people do with the Anglish we get here sometimes.
