Regurgitating last weeks question in more convenient form,I wanted to get some opinions on the appearance of this wave generatorI made, and maybe some comments.The basic specs are;50 ohms output impedance (changes somewhat with increasing frequency)1MHz in 6 rangescoarse freq controlfine freq control9 volt battery compartment (no ext. DC)level control 0 to 5 volts dcno offset control, inherent offset 2mV typical max250 mA ouput current capacity (400mA peak)10 mA nominal current draw for light loadsBNC outputBanana-Lug outputsLED power light (yellow). Dims when unable to sustain 5 volts internalregulation.Dubious aspects are limited to square wave output only, which becomes atrangular wave at 500 kHz due to slew limiting.... and the lettering isa funky but decent looking labelling tape.Future mods will include getting rid of the odd knob, so all 4 knobswill be the samePlease have a look at it and tell me what you think some well-fundedperson would pay for it if they actually wanted one... and comment onhow you'd change the appearance please.I do plan on selling these.Thanks!Geoff

Ok, i stepped back a bit. I have no idea what you may want to ask for this piece of crap, but an obsolete Intersil ICL8038 will wipe the floor with your device. Sine, square and triangle to 2 MHz (all with better parameters than you offered) at a price less than your most hopeless dream of shipping cost.

By the way, 250 mA into 50 Ohms requires 12.5 V, you are required to explain how you do that from a 9 V battery supply.
